Brilliant!

Thank you also from me – we had a great time; the villa is stunning, the staff were amazing and the food they prepared for us was delicious! I will definitely be back at some point and will pass your details to anyone I know wanting to hire a villa in Phuket.

I can also add that the villa was very clean, I loved the fact that you provided products in the bathrooms (such as the Pantene – a nice touch) and even though the staff were cleaning throughout the day, they were so discrete you never saw them but everything was miraculously great!

Just got back after a great time in Thailand. Please accept both mine and Mick’s thanks for making everything at the villa so wonderful. The place was fantastic and the staff could not have been more helpful. The children were safely kept away from the pool by some pot plants sourced by Khun Noi. The maids were really helpful and extremely discreet, and the food cooked up was delicious.

Once again, thank you for the time and effort shown in making our holiday so special. As for returning to Phuket, we intend to make this a regular event. So much so, that whilst in Villa Malee, we met up with some friends who were staying in Bang Thao and bought both families back to the villa. Despite them staying in 6/7 star luxury, they preferred Villa Malee for the location to Kata, Chalong & Patong, the maid service, and the overall package. We are going to meet up in a couple of weeks to discuss getting all four families renting both villas at the same time, at some point in 2010.

We got back safely after the long journey. Not too cold just loads of rain! We had such a brilliant time at Villa Jasmine and it was just what we wanted and needed.

My main concern was always for our little girls, but the house was so comfortable and homely that they felt at home straight way. My next concern was going on holiday with the in-laws but again it worked out so well and I think its because we were not on top of each which we would have been in a hotel!

May, Ghan and Baa did such a wonderful job looking after us and the worst thing about coming home has been having to think and cook again! And I`m having withdrawal symptoms from May`s cooking and Thai food.

Just to say after returning from Thailand my family were very impressed with the Villa Malee. I myself found standards high with charming helpful Thai staff. My son Nicholas made several visits to oversee details of the pool etc, the pot plants were perfect especially with the small children using just the steps as access. Thank you so much, we all had a wonderful stay. The villa catered for all our tastes but I think my daughter  Ruby had the best time of all. She constantly wandered around the villa calling out to May who is her favourite person. The meals May cooked for us were superb! The villa was well set out for the little ones, and we felt secure to let Ruby run around, knowing she couldn't get into too much trouble. To be honest with you, Villa Jasmine was pretty much perfect for us. The services provided by your staff were precisely our reason for choosing Villa Jasmine and what set your villa apart from others on our short list. We had a fantastic time at Villa Malee, May was friendly and discreet and as you said, an excellent cook. We ate only Thai food and May was able to meet the different needs of the family. (spicy-not too spicy.. you know with kids), but still letting them discover a new world in food.

Everything was clean and perfect and we were impressed by the high standard of construction and of design. If you are looking for suggestions for even more perfection, the only thing that crossed my mind was that I would have liked to have the choice to save some water by changing towels and linen only when I thought was needed. This is now done in most of the best hotels and it helps my conscience.

The children loved Thailand. We spent 3 nights in a remote resort on Phi-Phi island, in Balinese-style wooden bungalows which were very beautiful and comfortable but without any mod-con such as TV or any distractions powered by electricity. The bungalows were buried in the jungle yet by the sea, so snorkeling, looking at corals and chasing fish kept the children busy. We particularly enjoyed exploring the corals around Koh Phi Phi Lee and Bamboo Island, which are outstanding, even better than those seen around the Similan Island (so says my brother who went diving there).

We spent some time in Phang-Nga where we experienced the real Thailand away from mass tourism. We visited the underground cave underneath Elephant Mountain, a temple in another cave with lots of monkeys, went into the jungle and mingled with ordinary Thais. We ate sometimes in little local restaurants for under 400 Bhat for 5 and also in a fabulous establishment by the river popular with the local elite. Guests arriving in large SUVs are served in discreet booths in bamboo at the foot of a huge cliff, high on stills on the edge of the water with many beautiful exotic plants. You do not need to do anything, May is there to organize everything. The rooms are exceptional, the beds very soft and immense, the splendid bathrooms!! In a word, this is the most beautiful holiday that we could have abroad, thank you Brian for all that.

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Malee really very much. It was a fantastic holiday, the house was perfect for all 8 people and also the children enjoyed it very much. They had enough space for playing football – but sometimes they shot the ball into the neighbour's garden. But it was never a problem.

May is a wonderful person and an excellent cook. As many other guests have written, it was so comfortable staying for dinner in the Villa, so we only went out 3 times in the evening. Especially after a golf-day (and we played 8 times) we enjoyed staying in the villa. Also Donald and Tjoop of VIP Golf organised our golf-trips perfectly.

We would like to spend our next Christmas holidays again in Phuket. But this is not possible for the other family , so we have to book a hotel, because your Villa is too big for 3 people. Grace and her friends loved the villa and told me it was the highlight of their trip. They gave excellent comments on your staff and said it was the best food they ate during their entire trip. If they wanted something, your staff went out and bought it immediately, and were quick to serve it. The stay was fantastic. The villa was again a comfortable retreat which was especially beneficial this year as I try to recoup from open heart surgery. May and her crew took very good care of us. This included coordinating our travel, internet usage, laundry and of course the wonderful meals that they prepared. I want to and will visit again without hesitation. In a word, our stay at Villa Malee was outstanding – the family enjoyed the villa and facilities enormously. I must make special mention of May and her team of ladies separately as their standard of service and attention to detail was of the highest order, in particular the evening meals, which were beyond our every expectation, absolutely fabulous.

The travel plans for the family were disrupted in a minor way due to the problems in Bangkok, with our eldest daughter and her boyfriend having to stay in Phuket for an extra two days and catch a different flight out to a different destination order to get home. They were not too disappointed about the extra stay – in fact the rest of us were a little envious.

We all found Phuket to be a fascinating place, and did our best to do and see as much as possible whilst there – bungee jumping, elephant rides, cobra show, Fantasea, Thai boxing, lots of beach time and of course the shopping experiences will be remembered for a long time. Thankyou for a fantastic holiday, and please pass our further thanks to May and her team for an outstanding effort in looking after us. Our group of 4 hired the villa for a week at the end of a trip to Beijing and Hong Kong so a welcoming, relaxing retreat was what we were looking for and that is exactly what was delivered. Sadly the weather was incredibly bad throughout the duration of the trip but that is in the lap of the Gods. The staff could not have been more helpful, nothing was too much trouble, the food was excellent as was the standard of accomodation. Well, what a lovely touch of paradise you have there in Phuket!!!!!!!!! And what lovely, lovely staff. Where on earth did you find such gems?? From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. My group and I had a great time in the Villa. May was excellent. I had planned to celebrate my 3 year anniversary with my girlfriend and May took care of things and it was a wonderful night. We booked out both Villas and celebrated two birthdays during our stay. We also had guests coming from as far a field as the UK, Western Australia and Hong Kong, all arriving at different times. We thought the logistics for arranging this would be a monumental task but the team in Kata handled it perfectly. They were patient, polite and as attentive as you could hope for. And as everyone says, the food truly is fantastic. Don't bother going out. Trust me on this one. You have a fantastic pair of properties. We ended up with an adult pool and a kids pool, with aunts and uncles press-ganged into entertaining nieces whilst the parents relaxed over a couple of cold Singha. We ate all together in Jasmine every night with a couple of old collapsible tables added on either end for lunch and dinner. I have a couple of awesome photos I should send over - seated dining, family style, for 16 people. Brilliant. The trips to the beach were also fun. Tuk-tuks were easy to get back. We particularly enjoyed the meals and thank May for going to the extra effort of preparing and serving separate dinners for our children - which allowed the adults to indulge in a (semi-peaceful), yummy Thai dinner a bit later on. This was an unexpected bonus! I also was particularly impressed with May and Ghan’s cleaning ability. What a fantastic holiday had by all...the villa was absolutely fantastic... May and Baa was even more fantastic. This was probably the most relaxing holiday we have ever had, we could not have wanted more. May and Baa were so lovely, they work so hard you would never know that they had another family to look after in the other villa. The food they cooked was the best Thai food we have ever had, every night was a gastronomic experience, and the children's food was lovely too. We are Thailand sick this week and feeling very sad we should have stayed longer. We will definitely be back, sooner rather than later. It exceeded our highest expectations! Khun May is a pearl and she really does never use the word "no"! Villa Jasmine worked perfectly for a three generation party. We enjoyed Khun May's Thai cooking nearly every evening but preferred to have our lunches at the beach (Kata Beach, Kata Noi Beach and The Phuket Yacht Club beach). She really spoiled us in every respect and you may rest assured that she fulfilled all our wishes with a smile! This was our first trip to Phuket but definitely not the last one. The Villa stay was outstanding! May and the crew totally spoiled us. I came out the hero for grabbing this opportunity. The only downside was that we had to leave and move to a normal hotel. The food experience was the ultimate dining pleasure. May is a fantastic chef and we still miss her wonderful dishes. Both girls were extremely professional and sweet. The establishment was clean, beautiful and enjoyable. However, the highlight was May's cooking. Her dishes were superb, and we enjoyed every morsel (and wish she could come home with us). We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Villa Jasmine . It was just what we were looking for. The house and pool were beautiful. Khun May and staff were so efficient that we hardly noticed their presence, but at the same time everything was tidied up. It was so nice not to have to worry about where to eat, etc. Instead, while we had our before dinner cocktails, we enjoyed the smells from the kitchen and then just sat down to eat. Everyone had a great time staying at the Villa - a very enjoyable holiday. The 'family friendly' aspect of the Villa was great as we had 4 kids under 10yrs old - no issues at all with safety and security. Khun May is an absolute superstar and made sure everything ran very smoothly. She did everything possible to make sure that our stay was as hassle free as possible, and her cooking skills are quite outstanding. We all had a great time at the Villa Malee. May and Baa were really fantastic. They made us feel so welcome. Really enjoyed their cooking and May's specials were superb! Right from your arrival you are made to feel welcome by the warm greeting from the staff. The food is 5 Star and there is no need to have dinner anywhere else. We had a great holiday it was lovely to return after a year and be able to relax and fit right back into it. The kids couldn't believe that May and Baa remembered them from last year, they were so happy. It was lovely to have the added bonus of TVs in every bedroom, real luxury!!! Paul enjoyed the cooking lessons with May and picked up some good tips to use in his curries at our restaurant, he enjoyed the fruit carving and did a good job but not quite as good as May, she is brilliant. I consider myself a world traveler, and I was very, very pleased overall with the Villa. The pool and view were a large draw for us. Kuhn May was always there at the right time to serve up something special or take care of transportation. We opted to stay at the Villa for the majority of two out of three days. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Jasmine, what a beautiful part of the world! Our journey to Phuket had been so stressful but as soon as we arrived May and the staff made us feel right at home and we settled into Kata Beach life instantly. I cannot say enough wonderful things about May and the girls, they truly are a fabulous asset to you. I did not have to lift a finger, and May was always there for us when we needed her, and the kids just adored her and Baa. So much so, that my youngest, Charlotte, thought that Baa was coming home with us! (wishful thinking!). All in all an absolutely fabulous, relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable stay! WOW!!! What a fantastic holiday we had in Villa Malee...we could have quite easily never left the house for the whole 7 days!! Khun May is without a doubt THE BEST Thai cook in the whole of Phuket. We went out to dinner a couple of times (even to the highly recommended restaurants) and, although they were lovely, the food was never as good as our “home cooked” meals. All the staff, went out of their way to make our stay one to remember. They were friendly and attentive without being at all intrusive. My friends all commented that Villa Malee was one the best accommodations they’ve stayed in, particularly for a group. Most of these ladies have travelled extensively throughout the world so that is a great compliment. I’m so glad we found and booked Villa Malee and I’m quite sure you will hear from some, if not all of us again! (May 07 - Lisa: Australia)

We had a fantastic time at the villa, we loved the pool and saw some beautfiul sunsets. There was plenty of space for our two families and the villa had everything we could need. May and her team were lovely and couldn't have been more helpful, plus May's cooking was sublime. We arrived safely home about midday after a wonderful stay at Villa Malee. As advised, May and Baa are absolutely delightful and a pleasure to be around.
