Kata Beach is a true year round destination - the horse shoe shaped bay that provides ideal yacht anchorage from November to April suddenly changes with a westerly swell from May to October. This builds to good size surfing waves with a fairly long run. These waves are suitable for beginners on body boards to experts on Malibou. Great fun for everyone - AND warm warm water ! Even if it rains, it doesn't matter, you are already wet!
